MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

Hey there!

I thought i'd do a little post on what I've got up to over christmas, well actually this all happened in two consecutive nights, but nevertheless it was very festive! Firstly myself and my friends had a Christmas jumper party, it was really good fun, and I think we all looked pretty amazing haha! Then secondly we did a Christmas pub crawl. Both were really good, and was so nice to spend time with all my friends after being at university.

This is what I wore to the jumper party:

Jumper - Primark (last year)
Skirt - Ebay
Socks - Topshop
Boots - Topshop

All my best friends in our jumpers!

For the pub crawl I didn't really have a clue what to wear so I wore the tartan blouse I have blogged about previously, and reindeer antlers! Some people went all out on the costumes which was amazing!

I have literally loved spending the build-up to Christmas with my friends, I think it's so important to spend time with the people you love most and these guys definitely are!

Sorry the pictures aren't fabulous quality they were all taken with phones, and then have been edited on various things!

Merry Christmas

Lots of love

Tartan love

Hello there,

Another quick outfit post featuring one of my must have patterns of the winter: TARTAN! I feel like anytime I go shopping I'm drawn to the pattern! This shirt isn't actually mine, but I absolutely love it, so I stole it from my housemate! I think even tartan accessories are lush, I found a really nice scarf in H&M but didn't buy it, now I can't find it in any shop! Some of the things worn I've already linked in previous posts, so please go down and have a look!
 Necklace - River Island
Blouse - New Look
Jeans - ASOS
Boots - New Look
Bag - Accessorise

What's your fashion obsession this winter?

Night out in Birmingham

Hey there!

Last weekend I went to visit my friend in Birmingham at the weekend with about 15 of my other friends! It was a really good weekend and was nice to get dressed up looking nice! This is what I wore:

Top - River Island
Skirt - Topshop
Heels - New Look (different colour linked)

I was lucky that my makeup and hair was done by my sisters! Hair was curled with the Enrapture Totem Styler, and the makeup was a mixture of MAC eyeshadows and MAC lipstick.

Hope you like the outfit!

Segway Fun!

Heyyy.

This is a bit of a different post but thought I would write it anyway. So a while back I went on a segway rally type thing with my sisters and my boyfriend. I thought I would just write a little review type thing and how the day was set out. I think this is a good idea for a Christmas present as it's coming up as it is a bit pricey.

So I bought two voucher type things from buyagift.co.uk. At the time I think I spent around £50 for each of the voucher, which is two people. So overall the experience was about £100 for the four of us. I think the price is quite expensive but it was really fun, and it's something that's a one off kind-of thing so I wasn't put off.

The group was about 10 of us, which was just enough so we all had space to ride around and not be in each other's way. At first we were taught how to step up and down from it, then one by one we did a little circuit. After that we spent a little time going around a smaller circuit, then went onto a main big one. This had a few dips and hills that if we felt confident enough we could try, we spent about half an hour by ourselves going around the course. The whole experience was just over an hour. Overall it was a really fun thing to do and would totally recommend to do it for a present with someone. It could be for all ages as well!!

Hope you like this random little post, but thought it would be an idea for christmas presents!

Dinner Date

Hey,

Another quick Outfit Post. Really Simple, and very black!! I was off out for dinner with my boyfriend's family. I wanted to look nice, but not too dressed up, so heeled boots and a casual jumper is how I met in the middle!

Necklace - River Island
Jumper - Primark
Boots- Topshop Alegra
Lips - Bourjois Rouge Edition 07

The jumper is such good value! It's 10 pounds and super soft! Also these jeans are new from ASOS, they were extremely good value (I got them for 19.50, but it looks like they've gone up in price), as they are similar to Topshop Joni Jeans which I took back because they worn so quickly.

What's on my face?

Hey!

So I thought I would just share what my 'every day' makeup is. It's really simple, and it can be (in times of need) quick to apply! All of the products are pretty much either from a drugstore or from MAC.

So firstly I moisturise my skin with Boots Botanics Hydrating Day Cream. I then use my Wake Me Up by Rimmel concealer. I really like the real techniques brushes, and the first one I use is the Expert face brush (the small gold one) to apply my foundation which is MAC Face and Body. This foundation I have used for ages now! I really like how it is so liquid, so it is easy to build, depending on what type of coverage you want. The finish on this foundation is quite shiny, so I always powder after using the Stay Matte by Rimmel powder. I apply the power with the Powder Brush by Real Techniques. The blusher that I've been wearing has been recently is MAC Melba, I would say it is a cross between pink and peach, as it's not too pinky, like other ones I've used previously, I apply using the Real Techniques Blush Brush. For my eyebrows I used to use a pencil, but I now use MAC Omega eyeshadow, I apply this using the MAC 266 angle brush. Finally, my mascara is L'Oreal Telescopic.

I know this is a pretty short post with a hefty bit of writing, but I thought it was the easiest way!

Hope you enjoyed, thinking of doing a similar post for 'night out' makeup, what do you think?

A few new makeup/beauty buys

Hi guys,

So Debenhams had another megaweek last week, which meant 10% off of cosmetics which I think is so good! Plus I had beauty club points so thought I'd use them! I probably (actually definitely!) spent a little too much, but I needed some makeup buys before I went back to Uni!

Clarisonic heads
Really needed to get these, but they are actually quite expensive! It comes in a pack of two though, which is helpful a couple of months down the line!
MAC - Embark
I was recommended this by my sister, although I need to buy MAC Copperplate to go with it, but it was unavailable. I haven't had too many MAC eyeshadows so I am intrigued as to how they will look/ stay on well.
MAC - Omega
I bought this mainly to use for my eyebrows. I've always used an eyebrow pencil, but I thought by using this it might be more precise, and I have liked using it so far.
MAC - 266 brush
This brush was mainly to go with the eyeshadow I bought for my eyebrows. It's really thin so is really good for eyebrows.
Clinique Chubby Stick - 02 lots o' latte
This was definitely one of those impulse buys! I have seen some Youtube tutorials where they have used one and it just seems so easy, and I can tell you it is. It's practically a big soft pencil that you can apply all over your lid, and you just need to blend out a little. I am really happy with this buy and would definitely recommend it!

The joys of having sisters..

Hey there!

So do you ever have it when you look into a wardrobe full of clothes, but just can't find anything to wear? Well that happened to me and I had a party to go to! I am lucky enough to live with two older sisters who have even more clothes than me, so whilst I'm back from uni I make full use of their wardrobes! So absolutely none of the outfit that I'm wearing is mine, but thought I would do a post as I really liked it!

Necklace - New Look
Top - Primark
Shorts - Topshop
Shoes - New Look

I'm going back to uni in a week! So I've only got a week left of wearing there clothes, so I definitely need to raid there wardrobe for my last week at home!

V Festival

Hello!

Last weekend I went to V Festival in Chelmsford, and it was AMAZING!! It was so good! I got to see loads of people who I love! The camping part was so relaxed as well. Previously I've been to Reading Festival where it's all been so muddy, and you feel damn right gross! But even without showering for a couple of days because the camping was fine it just seemed much nicer!

My favourite people to watch were Idris Elba (guy who plays Luther), Labrinth, Katy B, and Calvin Harris!

The day before we were going I had a mad rush in getting clothes to wear! I hadn't been shopping in ages so I went a little crazy and bought loads of things! Which seems a little silly as people are probably thinking 'you are only going to a festival!?' but never mind! The festival was 3 days and here are a few pictures of what I wore.

Sandals - Topshop
Dress- Topshop
Cardigan - H&M
Bag - Primark

Lattice Shorts - ASOS
Crop Top - Topshop
Headband - Primark

 Dress - Topshop SALE
Frilly Socks - Primark
Boots - H&M

Hope you liked my first post back!

London Town: Ben Howard & Natural History museum

Hey guys

So on Thursday me and my boyfriend went to see Ben Howard at the Hammersmith Apollo. I don't personally listen to a lot of Ben Howard, but my boyfriend loves him so I got us tickets! We decided to go up for the day, although both of our bank balances are looking hideously small! We were trying to think of something to do that is free/cheap, and decided we would go to the natural history museum. I haven't been there since school, so it was quite nice to go back.

Here is my outfit I wore. I was really struggling to decide as the weather wasn't that good but I didn't want to wear jeans in case I got hot at Ben Howard! So I decided on a midi skirt and boots!

Necklace - ASOS
Top - H&M
Jacket - Dorothy Perkins
Skirt - Primark
Boots - Topshop
Bag - Topshop

I did enjoy the Natural History museum, but the constant flow of school children got rather annoying by the end of it! It is a good place to go if you are on a budget as it's free and quite interesting (geeky I know)!

We walked around London for a while and ended up going to Westminster and walking by the river and then to Leicester Square to eat! We ate at the Angus Steak House. It was really nice, and the steak was cooked just how I liked it! Afterwards we really fancied a crepe so we went to have pudding at the Haggen-Dazs restaurant place where you could sit down. I have to share what we had as it was just so yummy!!
We then went onto Ben Howard at the Hammersmith Apollo. I think the venue was so good, as we were standing the floor was quite steeply sloped so everyone (most people anyway) should of been able to see. I think I will listen to Ben Howard more now. His voice is really calming.

Do you know any good places to go cheap in London?
What's your favourite Ben Howard song?

My shoe collection ♥

Hey everyone!

Today I am going to show you my ever-increasing shoe collection. Recently I have gone through my wardrobe, thrown away/sold things I don't wear. I still seem to have a ridiculous amount of shoes, yet still keep buying them! my new purchases I will highlight as being new, as these will definitely still be in the shops!

So that's it! My main 21 pairs of shoes! I love them all, and even though some I haven't worn in a while after I've re-found them I will be wearing them!!

How big is your shoe collection? Are you obsessed with shoes like me?

Hope you enjoy the post, and the in-sight into my shoe collection!

My summer lip

Hey,

So if you read my previous post you would have seen I was wearing a coral kinda coloured lipstick! Well since buying it I have worn it on many occasions, and I can just tell it's the lipstick I will be wearing most this summer. As you are probably aware I do wear a lot of black and white, so I think having a bright lipstick just adds a teeny bit of colour!

So as you can see by the packaging it is the Kate Moss range by Rimmel. The colour is 110. I really love it, as I've said, and even if it fades on the lip it is still a nice colour.

What's your favourite lipstick ATM?

A weekend of sun, fun, and pretty views

Hi everyone, as you are all probably aware I go to University in Portsmouth. My boyfriend and me see each other every other week, and it last weekend he came down to see me. It was nice weather, which meant we could actually do things!

On the Friday we went to have a picnic in a National Park. I really love picnic's! I think they're so cute!
I went to get the food from m&s, and the picnic blanket from primark. I think I got the most bright one there, but I think it's very summery and hopefully I'll get some use out of it this summer (if the weather gets warmer)!

The second day we went up the spinnaker tower, which is in Gunwarf, where there is a shopping outlet place. I really enjoyed going up it, but did think it was quite pricey. For me it was cheaper as I was a student plus resident, but Dan had to pay non-student and non-resident. I think for something to do it was really good as there is a glass floor which you can walk across and you can see for miles. I'm glad I went up it as i've been living in Portsmouth but never got the chance.

Here is my outfit of the day, when I went up the spinnaker tower, then we went to TGI Friday's in the evening which was really nice.

Glasses - H&M (stole from Dan)
Top - Topshop
Jeans- Topshop
Flatforms - River Island
Bag - Topshop

On my lips I am wearing a new lipstick from Rimmel which I absolutely adore. It is definitely going to be my summer go-to lipstick. Look out for a blogpost on that!

As always thanks for reading,

Lots of love

Dad's Birthday Outfit

Hey everyone!

I can not believe I have neglected my blog for so long! :( Getting ready for exams, and was at home for easter has made me get so busy that I literally have had no time! But I will be fine to carry on from now on! I WILL make time!!

I just thought I would do a quick OOTD post. It was my dad's birthday whilst I was at home so we went out for dinner and this is what i wore.

Top - Topshop
Jeans - Topshop Joni
Camino - Topshop
Flatforms - River Island

I only just realised most of the outfit was from Topshop, but never mind! I recently bought the Joni jeans after buying Leigh ones for so long! So the Joni ones are high waisted and super super comfortable. I do warn you though as from trying them on i know that there are two types, the ones with the white lining are not as stretchy as the ones with black lining! They are all placed on the same arm in the shop but when you try them on they are really different sizes.
I also just bought these flatforms (I have gone shoe crazy recently!!). I absolutely LOVE them. They can make an outfit just look that little bit nicer without wearing heels, but to wear them in the day would be really easy too.

I know this was a really simple post! But hopefully my next one will be a little ore interesting!
Thanks for reading.
