HAIR UP 1 - Fishtail Ponytail

Hey there! 

I always wearing my hair up in a bun, but there are so many interesting ways to style your hair up that I love. I thought I would share 3 styles over the next couple of posts with styles that I have worn recently. I have to admit I can only style my own hair in one of these, and the others I rely on my sister or my best friend to do it for me! If you have someone who can fishtail, and plait that would be useful for two of these styles! 

For this style it's probably really easy for you guys to figure out what I've done (well, what my best friend Emma did). You just need hair bands and grips. Firstly I have to straighten my hair, as it is super thick, but if you have straight hair you won't need to. Then you need to put your hair in a ponytail, quite high up on your head. Then fishtail the pony tail, be warned this will ache your neck if someone else is doing it, then make sure you tie it at the bottom. The grips are just to make it a little neater, and then just spray on lots of hair spray! It could probably stay in for the next day if you hair spray enough!

Can you ever wear too much black? I think not! A really simple outfit that I wore to go out in town, for my older sisters' birthday. I wore (of course) my favourite red lip - All fired up by MAC, and the normal mixture of Copper plate and Embark by MAC on my eyes.

Cocktail Bling

Essie Cocktail Bling

I got this nail varnish so long ago as a present but I forgot to post about it then so thought I would now! It's an essie polish in the colour 'cocktail bling'. It's like a grey colour, but not like a dull grey if that makes sense. I find these sorts of colours really easy to wear, and as I don't normally paint my nails (I don't have the patience) it was nice to wear some for once! When I wore it at work I got customers commenting on how they liked it, so hope you do too! 

Anyone have any tips on how to paint your nails without getting it around your nails rather than on them?

Here's my easy look that I wore the other day to a pub quiz. Unfortunately we came last, but it was fun, and something different to do! 

For my hair I used a hair doughnut because I've just found an amazing easy way to use it. If you watch missglamorazzi on youtube then you might of seen her 3 hairstyle video, where for one she used a hair doughnut. I always found it so difficult to put my hair in a doughnut because it is so thick and I have so much of it! haha. She did it a really easy way, where you start with the doughnut at the top of a ponytail, it's hard to write to explain so check it out on her channel!

A night OUT OUT

Hey there! 

I know I did a post wearing the same trousers previously, but I wore them Out Out the other day so thought I would share! I'm part of a social at Uni, so I haven't been properly dressing up nicely (as we do fancy dress), so I thought I would take the opportunity!

My crop top was an absolute bargain! I got it in the Sale at Topshop. I actually wanted a cropped jumper that people have been wearing with midi skirts etc. but the top is actually like sparkly, black, tinsel sort-of texture, that sounds AWFUL, but I promise you it's really nice, plus only cost me £15!
