THE BODY SHOP: SATSUMA BODY BUTTER

Bit of a different post today, no OOTD! I have been seriously obsessed with this body butter from the body shop (linked here). I got it from the Gunwharf Outlet store, so got it SOOO cheap, but looking it up it's originally £13, which I think is quite expensive, but either way the product itself I love.

The texture is extremely creamy (I expected a harder texture), and I have been using it mainly to moisturise my legs. Not only does it moisturise my legs for ages after I've applied it, but also the smell is divine. I don't eat satsuma's but my god is this smell amazing!! After I apply it I go into my housemates' rooms and all they can smell is this stuff! I would highly recommend it, but I would even more recommend it if you get it from the Portsmouth Outlet store as it was so much cheaper than the original price!

Any products you've been obsessed with?

BACKPACK LOVIN'

Sunglasses - Camden Market
Dress - Topshop
Shoes - ASOS

I have recently purchased a rucksack/backpack. I mainly purchased it as I have to walk to University, and sometimes with heavy things in my bag, so last year I was just getting fed up with my handbag. As well as comfort I do quite like the way it looks, it's no handbag, but I think it looks quite cool (lol). There are so many rucksacks about but I thought this all black one would be really easy to wear with every single thing in my wardrobe! Also this is a new dress fro the Topshop Tall section! It's super comfy, but I though I could wear it with or without tights, so would get lots of wear out of it!

BACK TO UNIVERSITY

Top - Zara
Shirt - H&M
Boots - Topshop

Just a small post! As some people might know I am a student, currently studying Geography at Portsmouth University. I am going into my third year *cry*, and I've just moved back down after the summer. I am really looking forward to my final year here. I really love living here, and I feel very lucky to be living by the sea, as it's nice to go down and have a walk when the weather is nice.

I'm thinking of doing some uni-related posts so let me know if you would like to read them!

Anyone else back at uni?

YEEHAH - Barn dancing with my family!

Boots - Topshop

The other evening myself and my family went to a barn dance. It was at a local tennis club that my parents are members of, and my dad needed to fill a table. I have to just mention how hilarious the barn dance was! Myself and Dan walked in and I was think what the hell have I got myself into, but it turned out to be a really funny night. I think if you are with people you love and enjoy their company then whatever you do the night will turn out well.

I didn't really know what I was meant to wear, but I have just bought this lovely skirt so wanted to wear it! Also I have recently bought this cami, which was in a two pack with a white one from ASOS. A while ago I didn't think high neck cami's suited me, but I think this cut is just beautiful, and it's not too highly cut.

Thanks for reading

Touristy trip to London!

Sunglasses - Bought in Camden
Top - River Island
Jeans - Topshop
Shirt - Topshop
Shoes - ASOS

Before myself and Dan went back to Uni we decided to go on a trip to London for the day. We didn't really have a plan (my worst nightmare), but thought we would go up and just decide what we would do when we got there.

At first we went on a boat trip on the Thames. We went on the boat trip that was around 40mins, and got it from where the London eye is. I really enjoyed it, sounds like we are about 70 years old but I really enjoy boat trips. The guy who was telling us about the places that we passed I found a little monotone, and sarcastic at times, but the information given was quite interesting.

Everyone on Instagram (follow me here) always have pictures of glorious food from Shakeshack. There is a restaurant in Covent Garden, and as it was around lunch time we went there next. I thought the food was sooooo good. I personally didn't like the cheese fries, but the plain ones were just amazing. The burger was nice too, so I would recommend to try it out if you haven't yet!

We went to Camden Market, which I really enjoyed. There was a really cool 'vibe' (cringing at myself), and I bought my sunglasses at a stall there! We then went on Boris bikes around regents park. It was such a sunny day that it was nice to have a little bike ride, although there wasn't much of the park that allowed bikes which was really irritating.

What do you get up to in London? Any recommendations for things to do?

A Day of relaxation

For either Christmas or my birthday last year (can't remember!), Dan bought us a relaxation spa package at the spa that is local to us Nirvana Spa. I cannot express how relaxed I felt, it was absolutely amazing. We decided to do it now just before we head back to Uni, it's my last year, which I know is going to be the most stressful (Don't quite know how I can get more stressed!!??).

The facilities were amazing. They had a pool with loads of jets in (you can use to massage specific areas), steam room, sauna, large inside pool, large outside pool, outside jacuzzis, and treatment rooms which you can decide to get a treatment for an extra cost.

We were first greeted by the concierge who discussed where everything was, specific things for that day (makeup and cleansing focus group tutorials), our treatment (both booked for a back massage), and going over details about lunch, spa etiquette etc.

We decided to go for a treatment as it was for my birthday. We went for a back massage. It lasted around 25 minutes, and was absolutely divine. We went in the steam room/sauna a couple of times, lazed around by the pools, and basically just chilled out. The weather was nice so we got to spend a lot of time outside. Part of our package included lunch, they called it a 'salad bar', but it was't just that, as it included hot food too. We could go up as many times we liked in that one sitting, and also all of our soft drinks were included too.

The whole package cost £95, and is linked here. Yes, I know £190 for each of us could seem ridiculous, but it was a lovely treat for a birthday. The treatment on top was £29 each. I'm currently thinking of buying a spa package for my mum for Christmas as I loved it so much!

Have you ever been on a spa day, any treatments you recommend?

Out with the old, in with the new

So the other day myself and Dan decided to do a car boot. I had so many clothes to get rid of, I mean about 5 boxes full. Dan had a load of random stuff too, so our stall wasn't just clothes. I think doing a car boot is a really good way of getting rid of things, and earning a bit of money which you didn't have before.

I made about £40, which isn't too bad, although in previous car boots I have made double that. Dan made around £55, so all in all it was a good day.

A few tips I would say about car-booting:
1) Don't be too high with your pricing - People aren't there who would pay £5 for tops, even though some are relatively new and unworn. I would say 50p for plain or old tops and cami's, £1 for a bit nicer, and up to £3 on any of the clothing (dresses, shoes etc). The most expensive piece I sold was a forever Unique dress for £3. Unfortunately you are going to sell items for ridiculously cheap, but then again you have to think it's just extra money that you didn't have previously.
2) Don't be too cheap with your pricing - On the other hand don't be too cheap, if someone wants to buy it they will. I was selling a digital camera for £8 (HOW CHEAP), and someone offered £4, I mean that's just ridiculous. Don't feel you have to sell as cheap as you can because some items are definitely worth more.
3) Hang up your clothing - This is something that I realised even more this time around; people prefer to go through the clothes if they are hung. I wish I had taken two rails so I could've hung more, but I now know for next time.
4) Have a mixture of things - It was really good to go with Dan, who was selling totally opposite stuff. This makes people come to the stall who sometimes wouldn't, and then might pick up something. It's also good for husbands or dads to come over and take a look at Dan's stuff whilst the Wife or children to take a look at my clothing side.
5) The big earners - Nothing really at a car boot is a 'big earner' but when you first drive in to set up you are bombarded with people who are looking for jewellery/perfumes/electricals/watches. So if you have any of these lying about I would take them along. (Really random, but last time I took my Bear Factory Bears and people went crazy for them haha)

I am just going to leave you with this glorious picture of me looking mighty fine and 6am!

New fave sweater

Necklace - Zara
Sweatshirt - Zara
Jeans - Topshop
Converse

I mentioned in a previous post how I have got a little bit obsessed with Zara, and this new sweatshirt is a prime piece which has began my obsession. I think it was only around £25, it's lovely and comfy, and I think can really wear with anything. Similar sweatshirt-style jumpers are available, there is a white one which I just can't wait to get m hands on! I think they will definitely be my go-to pieces for this coming season.

Don't break my ♡

Sunglasses - ASOS
Top - Zara
Cardigan - New Look
Jeans - Topshop
Boots - Topshop

Another T-shirt that I got from Zara, but I think it was so cute! All of their T-shirts are fairly priced I think, so go check them out. Anyway this outfit was just super casual, and these new long cardigans are going to be my go to for this season, and only around £17 from New Look.

I'm in need of a new black handbag, any recommendations?

Lots of love

4 Years with Dan!

Necklace - On holiday in Lindos
Top - Zara
Converse
Bag- Topshop

So it was mine and Dan's anniversary a few weeks ago and we went to Longleat to celebrate! I absolutely LOVED it!! It was so much fun. You drive around the park (took us around 2 and a half hours), then you can go to Longleat house, and the 'zoo' part.

We got to see all of the animals which was so good. The monkey part was so funny. The car in front of us got absolutely terrorised by them, literally pulling the car apart!! I also got to feed dear from the car window, which just seemed a little crazy. When we finished the drive around part, we went on a cruise on the lake, and saw Sea lions, and the gorillas. We also saw a bird show, which was good, although I felt on edge as the bird fly so close to your heads!

If you have a free day I would really recommend going as it was such fun. Also we got the tickets from tesco vouchers which made the day cheaper, as the normal tickets are like 30 pound.

My outfit I wore was really casual. I absolutely love Zara, and this simple T-shirt was from there, and you know when you can feel the T-shirt is quality material? It just feels nice! My normal ASOS jeans, and just casual high-top converse!

Lots of Love
